Frequently Asked Questions
We get a lot of questions about how things work. To keep on trend as being as transparent as possible we've compiled a few of the most frequently asked questions. After reviewing, if you don't see what you're looking for, just give us a shout!
Do you charge for travel?
Our pricing is set for travel radius of 30 miles (driving distance) of our home base in Attleboro. We try to keep our events within 1 hour of Attleboro, approximately 50-60 miles. If your event is further please contact us and we can discuss the details.
Events 31 - 40 miles a guest minimum of 75
Events 41 and greater a guest minimum of 100
Events with less than the guest minimum shall be charged for the minimum.
When do you arrive?
We arrive approximately 1 hour prior to service. If you event has access restrictions during certain times or you're planning a surprise party let us know and we can accommodate certain situations.
What comes with my package?
Catering packages include all staff needed to operate(2-5 depending on guest count), heavy duty black plastic plates, heavy duty black plastic forks, napkins, tables for buffet set-up, and trash removal of area used.
Do you offer gluten free?
Unfortunately, at this time we do not. We work in a small space and can't guarantee the dough won't be cross contaminated. Also, we get our oven up to 800 degrees. Gluten free dough doesn't do well at those temperatures.
What about the weather?
FWP can operate in most weather but sometimes the elements are out of our control. Heavy wind and rain make pizza making difficult. Should the need arise to cancel FWP will reschedule on an available date that works best for everyone.
How much space do you need?
We need a relatively flat area 12ft x12ft for set-up. The opening to the area needs to be at least 10ft wide. It is ideal that the pizza kitchen be set-up on a hard surface. Set-ups on grass shall be assessed day of the event.
Can you make the pizza and bring it inside or to a separate area?
All set-up is at the mobile pizza kitchen. We are unable to run food to separate areas. If you'd like to have the pizza buffet set up at a separate area you'll have to hire a third party service. FWP Co does not hire or take responsibility for any third party.
How far ahead of my event should I book FWP Co.?
The short answer; as soon as you know the date and time! On average weekend events begin to book 60-90 days prior. We receive 5-10 inquires a day for events. If you ask on a Monday if a date is available it may not be available at a later time. Events remain open and available to book until a deposit and contract are received. Unfortunately we can't "pencil" you in.
Can my guest take some home?
All packages are for on-site consumption only. We serve pizza for the entire service time. We make sure there is enough that no one goes hungry.
